About us

North Devon surf hire has been in the hire business for over 25 years with a majority of its time being spent on Saunton Beach under the name of Saunton Surf Centre.

Since my good friend and business partner Bill Rea left us in 2006, the business has moved to LOBB FIELDS CAMP SITE Braunton. One of the best sites in the area!

Once again we are open to every one so feel free to pop in on the way to the beach for some friendly advice and some great deals.

DAY OR NIGHT, You can have the boards and suits of your choice delivered to your door…or tent. And at the end of the hire period we will also pick the kit up.

This is a free service designed to save you time effort and money.

Equipment

We have a large choice of boards ranging from The Swell board, used by most surf schools due to its soft foam construction and buoyant stability.

Nsp /South Point and Bic boards. From 6” to 9’2” These boards are great for the learner and more seasoned surfer alike.

We also have a selection of slick bottom boards with soft decks, for those who want to move on from the swell boards but are not confident enough for the NSP or BIC range.

If you don’t fancy any of that how about skim boards or boogey boards.

Wetsuits are quality winter and summer suits with a selection of boots gloves and hats

AND IF THE SURFS FLAT! We have a range of adult mountain bikes, helmet and lock provided.
